I came here everyday for lunch for about 3 weeks. The pupusas are delicious and the other options are as well! They have 8 or so varieties of pupusas all around $2.25 each, which is a steal. I enjoyed all of them! The baleada all the way and the fried chicken with fried green bananas are also great options!
The people here are also so incredibly kind! My second time here, I forgot to bring my wallet, and the waitress kept saying it was fine and told me to go. I even offered to leave a personal item to come back for with money, and they refused. The next time I came, I asked to be charged for the visit I did not pay for, and they refused to charge me for it as well. I left a heftier tip of course, but I was very touched by how kind the people here are! They are also incredibly patient in explaining the menu to people such as myself who haven't had Central American food -

Great food. Bad service. The Pupusas were really good, pineapple water as well, it all tasted really authentic. Who I'm guessing is the owner greeted us and made us feel really welcomed. But once he left the waitress had an attitude. Even when we paid she just said bye with a stank face.
Muy buena comida. Mal servicio. -

Craving Pupusas I've never even had, I took my grandma along with me to pick up some food to go. We walked in having no idea what we wanted, I think my grandma was just really along for the ride! Ha. Anyways, the owner explained the best items on the menu and even sat down and chatted with us while we waited for our food. I think my little ole' grandma was quite surprised. We all started talking about where he's from (Honduras) and their way of life there. I love experiences like these!
Once we got our food we headed back home. I absolutely loved my mixed jalapeño pupusa and sweet corn tamale! My grandma said her favorite was the sweet corn tamale, so if little ole' grandma is rooting for the sweet corn tamale, it's probably in your best interest to try it! -
